Adding lead weights
Over the years, the weight of the windows can
change with new glass, paint and asessories. Chiswick handyman
can add conicle lead sash add weights to adjust the counter balance
in your sash windows. Lead weights have the advantage in that
they provide maximum weight increase for minimum increase in the
height of the weight stack. The weights we use have the added
advantage in that the shape allows the weights to pass each other
more easily, resisting the tendency for weights stacks to piggy
back and jam in the boxes.
